My name is...
Hello to the ones I have not yet met, my name is Peter Kim and I am a freshmen this year. I am from Greenwood, Indiana, which is about an hour drive from here and graduated from Center Grove High School. I am really excited about this year and to be able to work with everyone and especially learn so much from everyone! My intended major is cello performance and maybe another major in science in route to dental school. The best part of being a cellist is to be able to play the cello and say that you play the cello. The varieties of style and music one can perform on the cello is so vast and it excites me to know that Dr. Edberg is a master of improv and I can not wait to learn more from him and just where cello can lead me in life! It is a pleasure meeting everyone!

I figure I'll just piggyback off this post and make this an introduction thread. I'm Robert Wieland and I am a senior from Naperville, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. I am in the double degree program and am pursuing a degree in cello performance and a degree in biochemistry with a minor in biology and maybe math. My favorite thing about playing the cello is gaining such an intimate knowledge of a work that when you hear a recording of it, it means more to you and feels like you are playing it at the same time. I look forward to getting to know everyone over the upcoming year.
